And oh, how joyful it is!
A couple of months ago while we were moving, I mentioned in a post that I had a big meeting that was really freaking me out.
That meeting, folks, was a big scary job interview. For a position that I've recently accepted and will be starting in a couple of weeks!
My last day at my current job is TOMORROW -- and it's getting real, people.
At the same time my friend Natalie has sold her house and is following her dream of moving to Virginia (way to chase your dreams Natalie!!!!!). My friend Steph has some happy changes happening in her life, and my former roommate is now OFFICIALLY a CPA.
Hubs is prepping for a week-long work trip (AAAAAHHH) so instead of letting HIM have all the fun, I'm packing up and heading Eastward, too!
...Only just not as far East. I'll be heading out to Georgia soon for a very whirlwind adventure of my own! First time flying alone --- I'm a tad nervous about that but still so VERY excited! More on that when I get back.
Meanwhile, I've got three days off between now and the weekend so I have no other plans but to be a desperate housewife for a few days. Color me pumped. I have a feeling the next couple of weeks are going to be a blur - but that's not at all a bad thing, right?!
I cannot WAIT to catch up with our family and friends over the coming days - and taking time to regroup and restructure is something that's way overdue. As afraid as I am of change, there are times in life that it's the best thing - and it's for sure the only thing that's predictable. It feels like the sun is rising again and I can breathe again. We're starting a whole new chapter here.
Here's to hoping the rest of June will be just as joyful as it already has been!
Where will you find your JOY in JUNE?
Let's do this thing.
Glad to see your return - and hope June is wonderful for you! Congratulations on the new job. And we are thrilled to have Natalie in VA with us. Come visit some time!
